Lance Franklin's brilliant goal from the Round 3 win over Collingwood is one of three finalists for the 2013 Goal of the Year.

The play all started with a long kick from full back from Brent Guerra that was marked by Ben Stratton in the centre square. He played on and was caught but released a handball to Franklin who jumped over Stratton and Collingwood's Sam Dwyer and launched a 65m bomb from the middle of the MCG for one of the goals of the year.

The Hawks star's goal is up against goals from Carlton's Andrew Walker and Gold Coast's, Gary Ablett.
